Tips for Beautiful Young Looking Skin

  • Never go to sleep with makeup on.  This creates excessive damage to your skin. Use an oil based makeup remover or makeup cleansing wipes to get rid of all your cosmetics. This helps get rid of tough to remove makeup like mascara and eyeliner. Than use a face wash to cleanse your face before going to bed.
  • Cleanse, exfoliate, tone and moisturize.  Have a daily face cleansing routine. Find a good face wash for instance organic products are excellent. My favorite is by the Body Shop “Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash”. Exfoliate at least 2 times a week. This helps cleanse deeply your skin and rids you of all impurities. My favorite facial scrub is the ST. Ives Green Tea Scrub. Using a toner removes any remaining oil, makeup and dirt. My go to toner is the “Origins Zero Oil Toner”. The last step is to moisturize your skin. My absolute favorite face cream is “Neutrogena Naturals multi-vitamin nourishing moisturizer”. This face moisturizer contains all the nutrients necessary to obtain younger looking skin like vitamins B, C, E and antioxidants.
  • Don’t drink & don’t Smoke!  Abstaining is a must!  Drinking and smoking will make you look older very quickly in addition to being absolutely bad for your health.
  • Drink lots of water! Not only does water cleanse your body but it also hydrates your skin. (Read “Benefits of Drinking Water” blog post for more Information.)
  • Use sunblock religiously. The sun’s rays cause lots of damage to you skin including wrinkles. It’s important to use a sunblock that’s protects from both UVA and UVB rays. Never leave your house without SPF protection.
  • Mange you’re Stress. Stress can make you look up to 5 years older.  Don’t let negative situations affect you, try to always stay positive. (Read my “How to Manage Stress” blog post for tips to control your stress.)
  • Eating healthy is a must. Get a good supply of Omega 3 fatty acids which you can find in salmon, tuna and walnuts.  Eat vegetables like broccoli and pumpkin which contain vitamin A. Add to your diet foods rich in vitamin C like oranges and strawberries. Vitamin C supports the skins collagen.
  • Don’t forget antioxidants! Drinking green tea is a great source of antioxidants. Also use creams/lotions that contain vitamin B, vitamin C, vitamin E and even green tea.
  • Exercise regularly. Working out regularly helps you have firmer skin.  When you exercise you infuse your skin with oxygen and nutrients needed to produce collagen.  Exercise also helps you remove toxins from your body which will reflect in your beautiful and radiant skin.

  • Limpieza facial, exfoliar, tonificar e hidratar.
  • Usa bloqueador solar religiosamente.
