Seven years ago, I began the mission of blogging. As the years pass and I continue creating content it has always been important to me to post with purpose. Lovely Chicas mission has always been to inspire and empower. Through Lovely Chica’s I’ve accomplished things I’ve never imagined.
I must admit, I never imagined getting into blogging. My life goals were completely different but within those I always had the mission to help people. Blogging has changed my life in unimaginable ways. Through this 7th blogiversary post I’d like to share how blogging has made a difference in my life and who I am today.
Hace siete años, comencé la misión de bloguear. A medida que pasan los años y sigo creando contenido siempre ha sido y será importante publicar con propósito. La misión de Lovely Chicas siempre ha sido inspirar y empoderar. A través de Lovely Chica’s he logrado cosas que nunca pensé.
Debo admitir que nunca imaginé crear un blog, mis metas eran otras, pero dentro de lo que siempre quise fue ayudar a la gente. A través de esta publicación del 7o blogiversario me gustaría compartir cómo blogear ha hecho una diferencia en mi vida y quién soy hoy.
1. Blogging helped me grow as an individual / Bloguear me ayudó a crecer como persona.
After a few bumps and struggles I had encountered the lowest point in my life. I had a difficult time to get myself out of there and I was feeling vulnerable. Through that difficult time, I decided to create Lovely Chicas because no matter what I was personally living helping others has always given me happiness. Blogging helped me pick up the broken pieces and helped me come out of my shell. Blogging may be based in the digital world, but not all. I’ve been able to create inspirational conferences for teens and a movement to help others in need by visiting shelters. With influence comes power and it’s been my mission to use it wisely by creating a positive impact.
Después de varios golpes y luchas me había encontrado en el punto más bajo de mi vida. Tuve dificultad para salir de allí y me sentía vulnerable. A través de ese momento difícil, decidí crear Lovely Chicas porque no importaba lo que yo estaba viviendo ayudar a los demás siempre me ha dado felicidad. Bloguear me ayudó a recoger las piezas rotas y a salir de mi caparazón. Bloguear no se ha mantenido en el mundo digital. He creado conferencias inspiradoras para adolescentes y un movimiento para ayudar a otros necesitados llevando amor y artículos de necesidad a refugios. Con la influencia viene el poder y ha sido mi misión usarla sabiamente creando un impacto positivo.
2. Meeting people from all over the world / Conocer gente de todo el mundo
Growing up I always found it hard to fit in. Blogging helped me find people with the same interests as mine. I’ve met incredible people and have made good friends. Blogging has connected me with so many people from different parts of the world. Most importantly meeting and getting to know my subscribers. I have received many beautiful messages from people who read my blog posts telling me how it helped them in their personal circumstances. This makes me feel that I’m making a difference, inspiring people and helping them through their struggles.
Blogging hasn’t been all so easy. I’ve had to encounter negative people, internet trolls, two-faced hypocrites, selfish people and more but it’s part of the package when you enter this digital world. I’ve chosen to ignore these people because they will not distract me from my goals. Besides the good and positive people will always overshadow the bad.
En mi crianza me sentía diferente y como si no perteneciera. Bloguear me ayudó a encontrar gente con los mismos intereses que los míos, gente increíble con quien he hecho buena amistad. Bloguear me ha conectado con personas de diferentes partes del mundo. Más importante, conocer a mis subscriptores.
He recibido muchos mensajes hermosos de personas que leen mis artículos diciéndome cómo les ayudó en sus circunstancias personales.
Esto me hace sentir que estoy haciendo una diferencia, inspirando a la gente y ayudándolas a través de sus luchas.
Bloguear no ha sido todo color de rosa he tenido que encontrarme con personas negativas, toxicas, hipócritas, egoístas y más, pero es parte del paquete cuando estas en este mundo digital, sin embargo, esto me ha hecho más fuerte y saber elegir, ignorar y dejar a un lado todo esto que me distrae de mis metas. Además son más los buenos que los malos.
- It helped me to express myself more. / Me ayudó a expresarme más.
Due to some circumstances in my life I was very shy and tended to keep to myself. This blogosphere has helped me open and express myself being who I truly am without fear. Blogging even made me more creative in so many ways. I’ve learned to express myself more and help other people through my experiences.
Debido a algunas circunstancias en mi vida era muy tímida, bloguear me ha ayudado en abrirme y expresarme siendo quien realmente soy, sin miedo ni temor. Bloguear incluso me hizo más creativa. En pocas palabras aprendí expresarme más y ayudar a otros basada en mis experiencias.
4. It opened different opportunities / Me dio oportunidades diferentes
Being a blogger got me out of a bubble. It made me dare myself to push and try new things. I’ve had the opportunity to work with amazing brands and have even been nominated for various awards. Through Lovely Chicas I’ve been able to participate in major events as a speaker and panelist. I’ve been creating wonderful experiences and memories that will surely last a lifetime.
Ser una bloguera me sacó de mi burbuja. Me lanze a probar cosas nuevas. Tuve y sigo teniendo la oportunidad de trabajar con marcas increíbles e incluso he sido nominada para varios premios. A través de Lovely Chicas he podido participar en grandes eventos como conferencista. Lo más importante es que he vivido experiencias y recuerdos maravillosos que durarán para toda la vida.
- I’ve learned so many new skills. / He aprendido nuevas Destrezas y habilidades.
Getting myself involved in blogging made me learn new skills in digital marketing, influencer marketing, branding, email marketing, creative design, photography, website development, content creation, SEO and more. As a blogger I need to do different tasks in order to be successful.
Through my knowledge and experiences, I’ve guided other content creators in their careers as well. My blogging experience has made me a self-employed girl boss and besides creating content I guide others through my blogger-content creator managing and consulting services.
Involucrarme en el blog me hizo aprender y conocer más del mercadeo digital, influenciadores, mercadeo por email, diseño creativo, fotografía, desarrollo de sitios web, creación de contenido, SEO y más. Además, como bloguera trabajo distintas cosas para mejorar y tener éxito.
A través de mis conocimientos y experiencias, también he guiado a otros creadores de contenido en sus carreras. Mi experiencia en blogs me ha convertido en mi propia jefa, trabajando por mi cuenta. Ademas de crear contenido, guio a otros a través de mis servicios de manejo y consultoría de blogger-creador de contenidos.
