This stunning cliffside beach of Cerro Gordo in Puerto Rico—my absolute favorite place on Earth! I’ve traveled to numerous destinations, but nothing has captivated me quite like this breathtaking paradise.
During the 16 years I lived in Puerto Rico, this spot became my sanctuary; a serene escape where I could connect with God and find clarity. Here, I discovered peace amidst the chaos of life, letting go of tears, fears, worries, anger, and pain.
Here, I could connect with God, find clarity, and embrace that serene escape we all crave in a chaotic world. You know that feeling when life weighs you down? When I couldn’t handle life any more I would run here.
During Covid I was here, after any breakup I was here, after the chaos with my parents were I had to leave home I was here, during any major life decision I was here…..many people have prayer closets but this was my prayer sanctuary where I would have the deepest conversations with God.
Each visitor from family to friends that I’ve brought along has felt its magical pull, leaving behind their burdens in this peaceful place.
Funny enough, I stumbled upon this hidden gem with an ex-boyfriend. We hiked for miles, until we finally arrived at this breathtaking oasis. When we stepped out onto that cliffside overlooking the ocean, it truly felt like entering heaven. From that moment on, it became my cherished escape.
So, if you ever find yourself in Puerto Rico, make sure to seek out Cerro Gordo. Take a moment to breathe, reflect, and connect with your true self in this beautiful place. It might just become your favorite place!
When the day comes for me to leave this earth and meet Jesus if my family can’t burry me and decide to cremate me I’d love for my ashes to be spread here.
So, into another topic, life has been really challenging this year……but there are so many great things happening as well. A few days ago, I came across a quote that struck me: “God is positioning you to have the last laugh.” Oh, how I relate to that! Not in a vengeful way, but let’s be real: sometimes, you find yourself surrounded by haters eager for your downfall. I absolutely love being underestimated! With God’s favor and defense, these doubters are consistently proven wrong, and let me tell you, nothing beats the glow of inner strength and divine protection.
