For a while I’ve felt as if I’ve been on a non-stop roller coaster ride. Tons of work, activities, meetings and not to mention personal circumstances have filled my schedule completely overwhelming me with stress and anxiety. Once in a while, it’s very important to take a break. So, I’ve been learning to relax and slow down. To accomplish this I have been becoming very friendly with coloring. To me coloring has always been relaxing. Funny fact, whenever my friend’s children were ever coloring or drawing I would join them to “pretend” I was helping when I was really trying to find piece of mind.
I’m very happy that now adult coloring books are being created proving a fact I already new, that coloring unwinds you from the stresses of everyday life. It’s so peaceful to step away from the computer or cell phone and focus on coloring inside the lines, which is a very relaxing experience. So, if you want to maintain mental sanity and reduce stress I highly recommend an adult coloring book for therapeutic relaxation.
