This weekend the massive East Coast Blizzard of 2016 hit states in the USA. So while many are busy digging through tons of snow I’ve been fortunate to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean weather. I’m blessed to say that I live where many vacation.

Puerto Rico’s beautiful weather permits me to wear breezy and spring/summer clothes all year long. Spring is quickly approaching and I’m so excited for the newest seasonal trends. If there are two things to look forward to on the fashion radar this spring they are cute gladiator sandals and the infamous denim shorts that you can style in a million ways. For my look I opted to pair a chrochet cuff top to the denim short and criss cross gladiator sandals completing a nautical-boho gypsy look.

Glamorous Smokey With Avon’s Trucolor Eyeshadow Quad

Choosing the right colors to create a sassy smokey eye look can be difficult. Thank goodness for Avon’s Trucolor Eyeshadow Quads which simply life. There are many sets available that make it easy to re-create any look you desire. In this post I’m presenting the “Smokey and Fog” quad. This quad offers the perfect eyeshadow colors to create a chic luxurious look for any special fancy event. If you take a look at the back of the eyeshadow quad there is a diagram which explains where to apply each eyeshadow color but feel free to mix and match the order according to your desire. I love the smooth texture that makes blending an easy task in addition to the richly pigmented shades. When you’ve completed your eyeshadow apply eye-liner and mascara to maximize the dramatic look . Alluring and seductive eyes will be part of the finished result created effortlessly with the “Smokey and Fog” quad.

Lazy Look

For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted my very own pair of UGG Australia boots. So, for Christmas my boyfriend gifted me the “mini Bailey Button” UGGS in the color chestnut. I personally own many boots but UGGS are not just like any other boots. Their comfort is beyond amazing. Everyone who knows me well can testify that my sense of style always embraces comfort. I honestly prefer flats over heels. The fun part of wearing these UGGS is styling and integrating them into my looks.

As you can see this outfit post is all about laziness and comfort. In all honesty, I’d rather sit around in my house watching Netflix than go out in something uncomfortable. The good news is that in today’s age comfy dressing has become a fashion statement-a lazy girls dream come true. So, yes ladies you can wear a casual t-shirt with shorts and still look totally amazing.

For this lazy-casual UGG outfit I wore a white t-shirt, denim shorts and incorporated a boho-chic necklace and a crossbody bag to the look. No matter how casual this outfit may appear to be my AVON Perfectly Matte lipstick in the color “Red Supreme” adds a touch of sophistication to the entire look. Plus, I can’t forget to mention how delicious this lipstick smells. It’s amazing how something so simple like a bold lip color can change the entire vibe of a look.

Boyfriend Jeans

I don’t know if it’s due to the start of a new year or all the vacation time but I’ve been in such a chill mood. Even my relaxed outfits testify to that fact.

Boyfriend jeans aren’t usually my top choice in jeans to wear. Many celebrities perfectly pull the trend off but for short girls like me (I’m 5’1) it’s more complicated. With the odds in my favor, I recently found the most stylish boyfriend jeans and surprisingly enough they perfectly fit my petite body frame. These jeans paired flawlessly with a colorful flowy–sleeves blouse. Plus, who would of ever thought that a pair of chunky wedge sandals and a statement necklace (a gift from Kokoloom) would compliment this casual look adding bohemian flare and chicness. This casual chic look is perfect for running errands or hanging out with the girls.

Best Moments of 2015

Here comes 2016! 2015 has been a very great year. I lived so many extraordinary moments. Here are a few of my favorite experiences of the year.

Gatsby Girl-2015 gave me the opportunity to be a Gatsby Girl where I represented the brand as a blogger and had the chance to create trendy looks.

Trollbeads Ambassador-Being Trollbeads Blogger Ambassador was an incredible experience. Not only did I have the chance to represent their jewelry through Lovely Chicas but I was also given the opportunity to host a few Trollbeads events.

Conexiones Fashion Night– Comfort In Suites & Joanix Ochart offered a fun event for fashion bloggers giving them tips for managing their social media platforms and the chane to mingle. I had the pleasure of being the hostess of this event. Thank you Sephora, Maybelline, Bettina, Sugery Treats, Quero and Pia Colors for your support and gifts.

Surf4dem-Being part of this event that supports children with Autism was a wonderful experience.

Christian Meyer– Interviewing actor & singer Christian Meyer was definitely an unforgettable moment.

3^rd Blogiversary–Celebrated 3 wonderful years with Lovely Chicas.

PR BloggerCon– BloggerCon is an enriching event I’ve attended for many years but this year I was given the incredible opportunity to be a panelist speaker sharing my opinions and experiences on “Reaching the Fashion Blog Trend”.

VlogIN Fest-This event was amazing because it gave me the opportunity to meet many amazing followers. I want to thank my sponsors Neutrogena (For being a major part of my booth & for my followers gifts), Gatsby (For my trendy outfits), The Lounge ( For my gorgeous booth montage), Starbucks (For the yummy drinks that kept my visitors happy and awake) & Creatif Salon (For completely beautifying me).

Ribbons of Love –I organized this initiative uniting various bloggers and youtubers where we visited the children’s home “El Hogar Niñito Jesús” and brought gifts, food, love and laughter. This event was the highlight of my year.

5th grade girls- I had the most incredible opportunity to give 5^th grade girls a special workshop about beauty, fashion, hygiene, self-esteem and boys accompanied by my friends and Youtubers Kritzia Vargas (Kokoloom) & Nilsi Mar (IYN Beauty Reviews).

30 Years old–This year I said goodbye to my twenties and welcomed the 30’s.

As you can see 2015 was full of great moments. Thank you all for your love and support in 2015! I’m excited to see what 2016 will bring. I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed New Year!!
