Tropical

Palm trees, piña coladas, sun and the beach; spring break is almost here! The fastest way to look like you’re on vacation (even though you’re probably nowhere near the beach) is to wear tropical floral prints.  This colorful crop top and maxi skirt create an effortless feminine and sexy look. The long  earrings and stone ring add a dash of glamour.  Camel colored heels finished up this head-turning look. There’s just no denying that this entire ensemble is very fun and exotic.

What do you Lovely Chica’s think about this Tropical look?

White Dress

A dress is very feminine and can make you feel so pretty. It just so happens that’s Gatsby has a great variety of dresses. I adore the color white. There is something so pure and fresh about the color white that I love. This white dress gives me a tiny taste of heaven.  I love the pink and black details in addition to the soft flowy fabric. Pairing rad sunglasses, colorful multi strap heels & a white crossbody bag I completed this dreamy and beyond chic look. This is a perfect warm weather look accomplishing the white dress trend, staying stylish cute like a Gatsby Girl.

Conexiones “Fashion Night”

Posted on

Fashion & beauty bloggers, designers, fashionistas, social media marketers, boutique owners, entrepreneurs, agencies, makeup artists and beauty brands all honored with their presence in the second edition of Conexiones presenting “Fashion Night”. Conexiones is Social Media & Networking event by Joannix Ochart which is celebrated the last Thursday of every month at Comfort Inn & Suites. As the blogger of Lovely Chicas, I had the honor to be the host of the night which was dedicated to fashion & beauty. Everyone present at the event learned a few tips for marketing their brand on social media sites. After the chat we began to mingle and network. Without a doubt the stars of the night were all of the fashion and beauty bloggers present. Puerto Rico may be small in size but greatly enormous in talent. We have the best designers, businesses and of course bloggers. Bloggers are the new generation for marketing and promotions. We are constantly connected to every social media platform sharing our passions, embarking an influential journey being able to reach others with our opinions. To me, blogging has become an incredible journey though difficult but completely worth all the hard work.

I want to thank all of the sponsors who participated in this special initiative. Young business owner & pastry chef, Tatiana Ortiz sweetened our night with her “Sugary Treats”. Sephora Puerto Rico & Bettina cosmetics presented amazing goodies for everyone there. Maybelline Puerto brought top makeup artist Lio Maldonado who offered make tips and makeovers. Each blogger also received Maybelline’s newest products to enjoy for themselves. Pia Colors dressed some of the bloggers and fashionistas present. QÜERO and Coraggio also gifted the bloggers with their exclusive designs. What can I say, at Conexiones “Fashion Night” we learned from one another, accomplished some networking and received many great gifts.

When it comes to beauty, I’m an addict and love to splurge. Sephora is a heavenly paradise for a beauty lovers and I was recently invited to the launching of the new  Sephora Collection to meet the their top makeup artist directly from the United States.  Joined by three other bloggers; Colorful Disaster, Kokoloom & Charlotte Bella Fab, we all had a total VIP treatment.  Not only did we get to see all of the new products but we also got to try them out. Sephora Collection has a complete variety from beauty products to cosmetics. I learned so much about Sephora’s history, products and system.

Sephora has an excellent team of knowledgeable consultants and makeup artist. Sephoras top makeup artist gave us the complete diva treatment and makeover.  We learned tons of beauty tip and how to precisely use the products. Sephoras environment is very shopper friendly, making it easier for clients to find the products that are perfect for them through their interactive technology programs, Pantone Color IQ, fragrance IQ and expert services. Sephora also offers a Beauty Insider Program where absolutely everything you buy becomes points which than convert into gifts. There is even a mobile app where you can access Sephora on the go.

I want to thank Sephora Puerto Rico (Plaza Las Americas) and their amazing Manager Pedro Luis Rexach for the amazing experience and my awesome goodies. I had an incredible time.
