For those of you who couldn’t make it to Trollbeads Puerto Rico 1^st Anniversary event at the Outlet Mall in Canovanas don’t worry because I have every special moment captured in pictures. It was such a fun event where I was deeply immersed into the world of Trollbeads. Since 1976, Trollbeads is the original bead-on-bracelet jewelry line. All of their exclusive pieces are delicately hand-made by glass and silver artisans making each bead unique. At the event Trollbeads artisan Scott Bouwens was present and gave demonstrations of how he creates his glass bead designs.

Trollbeads offers so many unique designs you’ll forever fall in love. Not only is Trollbeads loved by women but by men as well. Trollbeads offers a very wide selection for men. My boyfriend has begun his collection with the black & grey leather bracelet, Lapis Lazuli Bead, Trollbead coin and water lock. I also acquired a few new pieces to my collection; a delicate white pearl ring, beige & brown leather bracelet styled with the universal white diamond bead and a pearl tassel. For another new acquisition, I now also own a silver bangle with a white triple pearl bead gifted to me by Sandy Lee director of retail at Trollbeads. I love pearls and Trollbeads offers a great variety of pearl designs. Pearls symbolize wisdom, integrity, generosity, beauty, purity and loyalty; all of which are qualities I believe to possess, relatively explaining my pearl obsession.

Trusting

When I first opened this blog one of my main goals was to spread love, happiness, motivation & confidence. I’m very upset with myself because I haven’t written an inspirational post in a very long time. My life isn’t just centered on fashion and beauty there is so much more to me than that. Those who know me well can agree that being vain is far from who I am. So, I promise that from now on I will share more about myself and write more motivational post.

Onto that topic, lately I’ve been so extremely stressed and a few situations have had me a bit upset; one being that I tend to be such a trusting and honest person and at times those qualities turn against me. Have you ever trusted in someone and believed you’ve made an honest friend until you actually see that persons true colors and realize that you were just being used? As that person does most hypocritical things. Well yes that recently happened to me but you know what every struggle brings great blessings and through that hurtful situation I have been receiving many amazing blessings.

Why am I sharing this you may ask? Life is a mysterious journey and at times you think “Why is this happening to me if I’m a good person”. Everything happens for a reason. In life each of us has to respond to the challenges and tensions of daily living. God allows certain struggles to come to our lives to make us better and stronger people. Every situation good or bad helps us grow. We have to make an effort to cope with everything that comes our way because each day is a gift and a challenge. When you are truly an honest person and someone betrays you or tries to hurt you eventually everything turns against that person.

If you are struggling through any situation I hope these words comfort you and you soon find peace. Remember you are not alone there are many just like you struggling around the world. Hold onto your faith because your great blessing is on the way.

What’s In My Bag Collab W/ Kokoloom

I’m quite obsessed with handbags. I own many and honestly speaking my bag always weighs a ton. They say you can’t judge a book by its cover, but I think you can judge a girl by the contents of her handbag. Being the freak I am my bag is full of a lot of stuff making me ready for any emergency. Situations in life have taught me well. To make matters more interesting I recently collaborated with my friend and fellow blogger Kritzia Vargas better known as Kokoloom. We both thought it would be nice to share a “What’s in Our Bag” video featured on her youtube channel. Besides being a great friend Kritzia is an incredible vlogger. Arm Candy

Before this Summer disappears I wanted to share a fun, relaxed and comfy look. So, I’ve been wearing these white high-waisted shorts non-stop. In essence, high-waisted shorts are the best replacement for itty bitty bottoms proving it’s cute to cover up and not show it all. I paired my shorts with an adorable denim crop top and for shoes I opted for white wedges. To sweeten up my attire I accessorized with Trollbeads Copper Bangles. These copper bangles are one of the cutest accessories my wrist have worn. They add a dainty and sophisticated touch. Not to mention they can be worn with many pieces of clothing spicing up anything you wear. Because these bangles are made from real copper they do tend to tarnish a bit but with a hint of salt and vinegar or soap and water they are shiny and new once again. Entirely this chic, fun and playful look perfectly defines my summer 2015.

Brunch At Caffé Melanzana

Brunch; the combination of breakfast and lunch has become a lifestyle for me. I’m up and about at 10AM so I brunch every day. From mimosas, fresh homemade juices to omelet’s and pancakes there’s nothing quite better than a brunch. Puerto Rico has a few places to brunch and now the neighborhood of Miramar offers the presence of a new trendy spot, Caffé Melanzana. Myrella Aragón and Alessandro Calenda are the business owners behind this lovely 40-seat casual and relaxed coffee shop.

If you need to make a quick stop and order to go Caffé Melanzana offers bakery services where you can purchase coffee, artisan breads and pastries. But if you prefer to stay and enjoy a full meal a menu of omelets, French toast, fruits, pancakes, waffles, Benedict eggs, crepes and much more is available for you to delightfully devour.

During a private and exclusive tasting my friend Kritzia Vargas (Kokoloom) and I had the honor of enjoying a few plates from the exquisite menu. I honestly have to say that Caffé Melanzana’s Benedict eggs and waffles are over the top delicious and mouth watering. So when you’re in the mood for a good time and scrumptious brunch Caffé Melanzana is the ideal choice.

Brunches should be about looking casual yet chic. Putting together a super-cute ensemble makes brunches even more fun and sweeter. For my stylish look I wore a white crop top, mint skirt and comfy wedges. My accessories from Simply Fashion added a touch of boho-glam to my entire look.

Fun & Historic fact: Across the street from Caffé Melanzana you will find Lady of Lourdes Chapel a neo-Gothic style chapel which was designed by famed Czech architect Antonín Nechodoma. Construction began in 1907 and it was inaugurated in 1908. Since 1984 it has been listed on the US Department of Interior’s National Register of Historic Places. I believe this is the perfect setting for a horror movie to be filmed. Don’t you think?

Fashion Bloggers Road Trip

I’m very excited about today’s post because I’m featuring a great place where I love to do my shopping. I’m all about bargain shopping and quality products, at Puerto Rico Premium Outlets you find both. Recently a few bloggers and I were invited on a Fashion Blogger Road trip organized by Puerto Rico Premium Outlets.

This tour was completely made for my boyfriend and I because we were given a tour of our favorite stores BCBG Max Azria, Kipling, Kenneth Cole, Tommy Hilfiger, American Eagle, Calvin Klein, Loft, Reebook & Adidas. At BCBG Max Azria, American Eagle & Calvin Klein I put on a little fashion show modeling a few of their fabulous pieces. Meanwhile at the Loft I personally styled three mannequins. I have to mention a very important fact at each store the staff treated me with great professionalism. Costumers are the priority and therefore are given extraordinary service. My treatment was definitely VIP, after the tour I was taken to the Baazar area for a coffee break where I was given many gifts and enjoyed delicious treats.
