I had a very emotional conversation with a friend of mine in which she shared her bullying experience from her early childhood until her college years. It was heartbreaking to hear her horrible experience of tortures because of being overweight. She was called names, pictures of a cow were drawn all over the school to torture her, when she walked her classmates would jump up and down as if they were in a earthquake. This bullying completely affected her self-esteem. She fought with this lack of confidence for a very long time until she faced it. She fought to overcome her past, believe in herself and gain confidence.
As women many things in life affect our confidence. It can be by receiving criticism from a boyfriend to feeling ugly because you don’t look like a model. I’ve also been a victim of this but I’ve come to believe that I’m absolutely beautiful because I’m one and only. If a guy tells me something negative about how I look I simply ignore him because he isn’t perfect either. Don’t let negative thoughts about yourself control your mind. I’m unique and beautiful, so are you. Don’t let anyone tell you any different. Look at yourself in the mirror and say I am beautiful. God created women and He said that everything He created was very good. You have to believe it too!! Learn to believe in yourself not what other people have said about you. Walk with your head up because you are beautiful!!

Tuve una conversación muy emocional con una amiga en donde ella me compartió su experiencia de “bullying” desde su niñez hasta sus años universitarios. Fue desgarrador escuchar su horrible experiencia de torturas por su sobrepeso. La insultaban, dibujan fotos de una vaca con su nombre por toda la escuela y mientras ella caminaba sus compañeros saltaban como si estuvieron en un temblor. Estas situaciones afectaron su autoestima. Ella peleo con su falta de confianza por mucho tiempo hasta que lo confronto. Lucho contra su pasado y logro confiar en ella misma y obtener una autoestima saludable.
Como mujeres muchas cosas afectan nuestra confianza en nosotras mismas. Puede ser por el hecho de recibir críticas de un novio o sentirte fea porque no te pareces a una modelo. Yo también he sido victima de esto pero he logrado creer que soy absolutamente hermosa porque soy única. Si un chico te dice algo negativo sobre tu apariencia ignoralo y dile que él tampoco es perfecto. No dejes que pensamientos negativos controlen tu mente. Yo soy única y bella, tu también!! No dejes que nadie te diga algo diferente. Mírate en el espejo y repite que eres bella. Dios creo a la mujer y Él dijo que todo lo que El hizo lo creo bueno. Tú tienes que creerlo también. Aprende a creer en ti no en lo que otros dicen de ti. Camina con tu cabeza en alto porque tú eres bella.
Toda tú eres hermosa amada mía, y no hay defecto en ti.
