As an avid fan of “Squid Game,” I was both excited and anxious when the season finale dropped recently. Like many others, I experienced a whirlwind of emotions as I watched the final moments unfold. Honestly, I wasn’t entirely satisfied with the ending. It felt a bit abrupt, leaving me with so many unanswered questions and the nagging feeling that the story is still unfinished. I truly believe there were opportunities for more seasons!
To celebrate the journey of “Squid Game,” my bestie and I decided to visit the Squid Game Experience in NYC. This event is a thrilling homage to the iconic series that plunges fans right into the heart of the games. It features a series of five games, including the infamous “red light, green light.” Walking through this experience was surreal, as it artfully recreated many of the striking scenes from the show, including dormitory and the unforgettable guards with their vibrant pink suits.
I have to admit, I’m pretty competitive, so losing the games hit hard! I’m convinced there must be some form of cheating involved because losing just didn’t sit right with me!
The Squid Game Experience is located in K-Town, NYC, which is an added bonus! After diving into the games, my friend and I explored the area and explored all the Korean delights. I’ve been there many times but it was her first. From delicious Korean eateries to lively K-pop stores and skin care shops filled with the latest K-beauty trends; K-Town has it all. It’s a fantastic way to spend the day, and I highly recommend visiting if you find yourself in the area.
I don’t want to spoil too much for those who haven’t experienced it yet, so I’ll keep the details brief. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just curious about the phenomenon, the Squid Game Experience is truly one not to miss. All in all, it was a memorable day, and if there’s one thing I’m sure of, it’s that the world of “Squid Game” has left a lasting impact that I can’t wait to see evolve in the future!
