Its been a while since I’ve introduced myself. Since I have many new subscribers before I share my important message here’s a few details about me. My full name is Charlene Gonzalez, nope there’s no middle name; I’m 34; Nuyorican; petite literally measure 5’1; I don’t know much about baseball but I’m a Yankees fan, hot Cheetos, mint chocolate chip ice-cream, watching cartoons and décor/organization videos on YouTube are my guilty pleasures. I value integrity, loyalty and honesty. I love helping others and I’m passionate about making a positive change in this world.
2020 sure has been a year full of hectic surprises and challenges. It’s only March 2020 and many of us would love to either rewind back to 2019 or fast forward to 2021. We’ve been faced with chaotic scenarios from earthquakes, wildfires, tornados and Coronavirus. Now we’re faced with a health chaos forcing everyone into quarantine. We all began 2020 with high expectations of great success and though the beginning of this year may be difficult my hopes are still set on believing the best is yet to come and all this suffering shall pass.
In a time where fear is abundant leaning on faith is essential. We all lose hope sometimes as frustration overpowers what we can’t control in the wake of these shaking events. Though the world my seem dark its when you most lean on your faith the most. During times of despair rely on God to calm your anxiety. He gives us the hope that we can survive anything the world throws at us.
We can’t return to 2019 nor fast forward the present but we can place all our faith in God and trust he is in control. This is the best time to slow down, prioritize and count your blessings. Focus on you and your loved ones. Make the best of this time. Trust me there’s no time to be bored when there’s so much more to accomplish. If you’re a blogger- digital creator or want to become one it’s time to create more content, reach out to brands, reorganize your emails, redesign your strategies, update or create your media kit. Work on your social media game and get started with Tiktok, it’s the latest trend. Watch Netflix and Disney Plus, there’s lots of good stuff that just premiered like Elite and Frozen 2. This is the best time to get started on spring cleaning. Life is busy and sometimes we disconnect ourselves from friends and family so it’s time to reconnect. Read motivational books and exercise at home. Most importantly take time to build your personal relationship with God.
No matter the situation don’t panic, it’s important to be calm. During this time don’t forget to think about others vulnerable to these current circumstances by checking up on elderly neighbors, family members and the homeless. In times of crisis embrace Empathy, compassion, tolerance, hope, love and faith. Most importantly trust God
