Five years ago Lovely Chicas began with a mission to promote self-love and confidence. It was a special platform I designed to express my creativity, inspire and empower women. Through Lovely Chicas I wanted to be that true friend many girls didn’t have. I wanted to be a light and hope to help others.
Hace cinco años atrás comencé Lovely Chicas con la misión de promover amor propio y confianza. Fue una plataforma especial que diseñe para expresar mi creatividad, inspirar y empoderar a las mujeres. A través de Lovely Chicas quise ser la amiga verdadera que muchas no tienen. Quise ser luz y esperanza para ayudar a otros.
These five years have not been easy there have been many trials along the way. All the tears and hard work have been worth it because I love what I do.
Estos cinco años no han sido fácil. Han llegado muchas pruebas en el camino pero todas las lágrimas y el gran esfuerzo han valido la pena porque amo lo que hago.
My life hasn’t been easy and one day I will give you all more details because I want my past to help girls today. I use to be a shy and fearful girl. Today I’m a powerful and strong woman not afraid of anything. If you have ever been told by a friend, parent or whoever that you aren’t good enough or won’t accomplish anything I’m here to tell you they are wrong. Trust me, you will become the person no one ever thought you’d be. If anyone is feeling frustrated, defeated, lonely, overwhelmed, depressed or stressed, I am with you. I have been there and still experience those feelings. When you are on a journey to success you are tested in so many ways. Patience is the key to success. After every struggle you’ll receive victory. Don’t give up.
Mi vida no ha sido fácil y algún día les daré más detalles porque quiero que mi pasado ayude a las chicas. Antes era una chica tímida, callada y miedosa. Hoy en día soy una mujer poderosa y fuerte que no le teme a nada. Si alguna vez un amigo, familiar o quien sea te ha dicho que un eres suficiente o que no lograras nada en la vida yo estoy aquí para decirte que ellos están equivocados. Créeme, tu llegaras a ser la persona que jamás imaginaste que ibas ser. Si alguien se siente frustrada, vencida, sola, abrumada, deprimida o estresada, yo estoy contigo. He estado ahí y aun a veces tengo esos sentimientos. Cuando estas en ruta hacia el éxito eres probada de muchas formas. La paciencia es la clave para el éxito. Luego de la prueba viene la victoria. No te rindas.
Though I may not have accomplished all of my goals yet I am very proud of the person I am today. I’ve had so many struggles and there have been so many days I’ve wanted to give up but my followers keep me going. Every time a girl asks me for advice about makeup, fashion, boys, life situations or anything I am reminded of my purpose. For me blogging isn’t about fame, money, free products or millions of followers. My mission to make a positive difference and promote self-love is what Lovely Chicas is all about. If I can make the difference in one life I am successful. To me success is about the positive change you can make in someone’s life.
Aunque aún no he alcanzado todas mis metas me siento bien orgullosa de la persona que soy hoy. He pasado por tantas dificultades y algunas veces me he querido rendir pero mis seguidoras me mantienen de pie. Cada vez que una chica me pide un consejo de maquillaje, moda, chicos, situaciones de la vida o lo que sea soy recordada de mi propósito. Para mi bloguear no es fama, dinero, productos gratuitos o tener millones de seguidores. Mi misión en hacer una diferencia positiva y promover amor propio es el propósito de Lovely Chicas. Si puedo hacer la diferencia en una vida soy exitosa. Yo defino el éxito como el cambio positivo que puedo hacer en la vida de una persona.
In these five years I have accomplished things I’ve never imagined would happen. Creating Lovely Chicas has been the best thing I have ever done in my entire life. To those who have tried to hurt or destroy me along the way you’ve made me stronger and unbreakable. To those who have been a great support and guide my gratitude is immense.
En estos cinco años he logrado cosas que jamás imagine lograría. Crear Lovely Chicas es lo mejor que he hecho en mi vida. Para los que me han intentado lastimar o destruir me han hecho más fuerte e indestructible. Para los que me han apoyado grandemente mi gratitud es enorme.
