This Summer 2020 has had a way of bringing new inspiration and motivation into my life. Though it has been quite different because of COVID19 I’ve been feeling more inspired and excited than ever. In a few days I celebrate Lovely Chicas 8th anniversary.
Este verano 2020 ha tenido una forma de traer nueva inspiración y motivación a mi vida. Aunque ha sido bastante diferente debido a COVID19, me he sentido más inspirado y emocionado que nunca. En pocos días celebro el 8º aniversario de Lovely Chicas.
During this time of changes due to the pandemic and as I reminisce on everything I have accomplished or want to achieve I was reminded of something important. Sometimes when your mind is focused on specific goals you tend to lose sight of what is truly important. Being a content creator is not easy. Its a struggling process of being creative, persistent, consistent, and most importantly being yourself. Sometimes you may get caught up on the tricky social media game and focus on the insignificant factors. It is always important to remember that the number of followers and likes you receive is not important. Being famous should never be a goal which has never been mine. Creating good creative content and connections is what matters the most. That must be the priority. It is not about having the largest following or being the most popular on Instagram. I honestly do not care about that. What I do care about is being able to reach more people, continuing to grow as a person and connect creating true relationships. Creating a special bond and friendship with my followers is what matters.
Durante este tiempo de cambios debido a la pandemia y al recordar todo lo que he logrado o quiero lograr, recordé algo importante. A veces, cuando tu mente se centra en objetivos específicos, tiendes a perder de vista lo que es realmente importante. Ser un creador de contenido no es fácil. Es un difícil proceso de ser creativo, persistente, consistente y, lo más importante, ser uno mismo. Te encuentras atrapada/o en el complicado juego de redes sociales y te enfocas en los factores insignificantes. Siempre es importante recordar que la cantidad de seguidores y los “me gusta” que recibes no es importante. Ser famoso nunca debe ser un objetivo, nunca ha sido mío. Crear buen contenido creativo y conexiones es lo que más importa. Esa debe ser la prioridad. No se trata de tener el mayor número de seguidores o ser el más popular en Instagram. Sinceramente, no me importa eso. Lo que me importa es poder llegar a más personas, continuar creciendo como persona y seguir conectando creando relaciones verdaderas. Crear un vínculo especial y una amistad con mis seguidores es lo que importa.
I will admit that for a while a felt stuck. I was only seeing the number and forgot to focus on the actual value of that number. I will never make that mistake again.
Admitiré que por un tiempo me sentí atrapado. Solo estaba viendo el número y olvidé enfocarme en el valor real de ese número. Nunca volveré a cometer ese error.
In this industry its extremely easy to get caught up in the amount of likes and comments you receive. People need it as if it were a stamp of approval. Please, don’t ever base the significance and worth of yourself or your work on the approval of others. Besides my goal of inspiring and helping others everything I do with Lovely Chicas is for me because I love it and it makes me feel extremely happy. All the blessings and opportunities that have come along are just extra perks and blessings.
En esta industria es extremadamente fácil quedar atrapado en la cantidad de me gusta y comentarios que recibes. La gente lo necesita como si fuera un sello de aprobación. Por favor, nunca bases tu importancia y valor tuyo o de tu trabajo en la aprobación de otros. Además de mi objetivo de inspirar y ayudar a los demás, todo lo que hago con Lovely Chicas es para mí porque me encanta y me hace sentir extremadamente feliz. Todas las bendiciones y oportunidades que han surgido son solo ventajas adicionales.
If you’re a content creator-blogger as well and are feeling a bit frustrated or stuck take my advice. Maintain your focus on the value of your content and creating a deep connection with your community. In time the rest will come along. Be genuine and authentic but most importantly have fun. Enjoy what you do, don’t take yourself to seriously. Sometimes I get critized for being myself and uploading content makeup free, dancing or talking about controversial issues, but I don’t care. I will never portray a fake, perfect image of something I am not. I am who I am, you either accept all of me or unfollow me.
Si también eres un creador de contenido-blogger y te sientes un poco frustrada/o o estancada/o, sigue mi consejo. Mantén tu enfoque en el valor de tu contenido y crea una conexión profunda con tu comunidad. Con el tiempo vendrá el resto. Sé genuina/o y auténtica/o, pero lo más importante, diviértete. Disfruta lo que haces, no te tomes todo en serio. A veces me critican por ser yo misma y subir contenido sin maquillaje, bailando o por hablar sobre temas controversiales, pero no me importa. Nunca retrataré una imagen falsa y perfecta de algo que no soy. Soy quien soy, o me aceptas toda o me dejas de seguir.
Now let’s shift the subject and talk about something we all love, fashion. Since the 4th of July is around the corner and I’m gringa so, every year I post a patriotic look.
Ahora cambiemos de tema y hablemos de algo que todas amamos, la moda. Como el 4 de julio está a la vuelta de la esquina y soy gringa, cada año público un atuendo patriótica.
This look is very summery chic. It’s a two-piece flowy mini skirt and blouse from Shein. I paired it with my white converse which pulls the outfit together into a casual and feminine look.
Este look es muy veraniego y chic. Es una minifalda y blusa fluida de dos piezas de Shein. Lo combiné con mi converse blanco el cual crea con un look casual y femenino.
Though we are still battling with Coronavirus what will you all be up too this 4th of July. It’s actually the first year I have no big plans, that will probably change last minute. I’m a huge fan of pool parties, barbecues and of course watching the New York fireworks display.
Aunque todavía estamos luchando con Coronavirus, ¿qué harán ustedes también este 4 de julio? En realidad, es el primer año que no tengo grandes planes, eso probablemente cambiará en el último minuto.
