Bloggers talk about everything from traveling, fashion, beauty, food and even important life events but when it comes to periods, sex and contraception the blogosphere is relatively quiet. Bloggers shy away from the topics that effect us all, so I decided I would do my part to initiate the topic. I feel a great responsibility in helping others by giving good advice no matter how touchy the subject may be.
Las blogueras hablan de todo desde turismo, moda, comida hasta momentos importantes de la vida pero cuando se trata de temas como la menstruación, sexo y anticonceptivos la blogosfera se mantiene bastante callada. Las blogueras le temen a temas así que nos afectan a todos por eso quise poner de mi parte en iniciar el tema. Siento una gran responsabilidad en ayudar a los demás dando buenos consejos sin importar lo difícil que sea el tema.
Contraception is a very tricky and delicate subject to talk about. I’ve done my research and have questioned many. To my surprise hardly anyone uses any type of contraception. They prefer the pull-out method. The pull-out method is very risky and unsafe. The fear of thinking you may be pregnant when your not ready is the worse sensation ever. If there are options to avoid this scare why not opt for them.
Hablar de anticonceptivos es un tema difícil y delicado. He hecho mi investigación y he cuestionado a muchos. Para mi sorpresa las personas que utilizan anticonceptivos son bien mínimas. Prefieren el método “pull-out”. Este método es un riesgo y muy inseguro. El miedo de pensar que estas embarazada cuando no estas preparada es un sensación no muy agradable. Si existen opciones para evitar este miedo porque no optar por ellos.
Apart from the risk of an unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases there also exist the risk of ZIKA virus. Currently Puerto Rico is greatly affected by ZIKA. Infection by the Zika Virus during pregnancy causes microcephaly and other birth defects. An important way to avoid these risks is to prevent or postpone pregnancy.
Aparte del riesgo de un embarazo no deseado y enfermedades de transmisión sexual también existe el riesgo del ZIKA. Actualmente el virus del ZIKA esta afectando a Puerto Rico. La infección del virus ZIKA durante un embarazo causa microcefalia entre otros defectos. Una forma importante para evitar estos riesgos es previniendo o posponer el embarazo.
