Surf 4 Dem’s 1st event of 2015 was a complete success which could be witnessed by the smiles and laughs from the children. This event was totally spectacular, I had such a blast. I personally gifted a few sand buckets to some children and my heart exploded with happiness with their joyful smiles. I feel honored to have been part of such a life changing event dedicated to children with autism and other disabilities.
**I want to thank Gatsby for providing my entire outfit for the event!!
A What’s In My Bag post has been on my blog to do list for a while. Due to procrastination it’s definitely long over do. I love the feeling of cleaning out an old bag and switching over to a new fabulous purse. This new gypsy fringed bag is courtesy of Qüero.
2. Coach card wallet: Very cute & weightless. Besides I only really need to carry the important stuff; my debit card, license, medical insurance card & business cards.
3. Betsy Johnson Sunnies & cute case: I need my sunnies when I’m out in daylight. I don’t know if the fact that I wear eye contacts has something to do with it but my eyes are super sensitive.
4. Maybelline Fit Me Powder: For makeup touchups
5. Yummy Plummy Baby Lips & Cargo Lipgloss: To maintain my lips kissable
6. Prada Candy Roll on Perfume: Delicious scent and it’s the perfect size to carry in my bag.
7. My Iphone & Teddy Bear case: I feel naked without my phone! It has to be with me 24/7 plus my phone case is so adorable.
And there you have it that’s my bag and all the goodies I carry inside.

Coachella has finally arrived! A top highlight during spring time is Coachella music fest. Coachella kicks off the festival season and brings together music lovers, celebs, bloggers and many more hosting two weekends of concerts in Palms Springs desert, California. I haven’t had the chance to attend but it’s definitely on my bucket list. Coachella is the king when it comes to “Festival Fashion”. Everyone is dressed in their hippie-boho best.
I wanted to share a boho chic festival look that can be worn to Coachella or if you live in the Caribbean like me you can basically wear it anytime. For this look I was going for a comfy bohemian vibe. I paired a grey t-shirt with black knitted shoes and sandals. This look is very perfect to enjoy a fun weekend of music.
Who’s going to Coachella? Today I will cry with envy looking at all the Coachella pics on Instagram.
One thing I’ve always strongly believed in is that children with autism are a blessing.
Autism is defined as a group of developmental disabilities that cause behavioral, social and communicational problems. Although it is one of the largest disabilities that affect children, diagnosing autism is very difficult. Autism affects in different ways and degrees. I’ve had the blessed opportunity to work with autistic children. Each one is unique, demonstrating their own range of behaviors and symptoms. I love working with autistic children; they are incredible angels. I can be having a difficult day but a little hug or an “I love you” from them changes everything completely. Children with autism are brilliant we just need to understand their minds work differently than ours.
Autism is a lifelong developmental challenge many do not understand. Families with autistic children need lots of strength and support. For this reason I’m uniting with Surf 4 DEM to be a part of something big and life changing.
Surf 4 Dem is a foundation that offers autistic children therapeutic services through surfing. On Saturday, April 18th we’ll be celebrating a festival at Jobos Beach in Isabella Puerto Rico where music, games, surfing therapy, autism orientations and much more will be offered.
Join me along with beauty queen Denise Quiñones, model and TV host Jaime Mayol to spread the love for autistic children.

Top designer Carlos Alberto also presented at San Juan Moda’s fall-winter edition and I was there to witness all of the glamour from his new collection Frenesi. For his presentation Carlos Alberto united forces with the Wilnelia Merced Forsyth Foundation. The cute and adorable little girls who formed part of the models were definitely the highlight of the night. I’m a huge sucker for kids and they brightened the show with joy. In this new glamorous collection by Carlos the colors red, black, gold and silver dominated the runway with glittery sequins and fabrics. Take a look below at the special moments I lived that night during the show.
