Enchanting Pearls

Transitioning seasons can be a bit difficult yet very exciting and fun. Honestly I’m still not completely ready to say bye to summer yet, so I’m still holding on tightly to my shorts not wanting to store them away.

Pairing oversized boyfriend shorts can be tough to accomplish but these beautiful pearl embroidered denim shorts made it pretty easy. Combining the shorts with a laced floral blouse paired with snake print heels kept the look feminine and gorgeous. It’s Needless to say that with or without a belt these fabulous pearled shorts looked amazing.

I wore this gorgeous outfit while I was lost in an enchanted forest surrounded by magical butterflies, colorful unicorns, and shimmering fairies later to be divinely swept away by a valiant prince Charming. Every girl likes a good fairy tale but getting back to reality I actually wore this lovely look during a stroll through a forestal park with my darling boyfriend. Honestly, wearing the heels was a bad idea due to the fact that I’m still suffering from Chikungunya. All my joints are in pain (tips to reduce your risk that are suggested by the best chiropractors) but when it comes to fashion I’d rather be hurting than simple.

Fall Neutrals

The fall leaves will soon begin fluttering to the ground and it’s time to get ready for the fashion extravaganza. Autumn weather is amazing nothing beats waking up to a beautiful chilly morning with gorgeous blue skies, making it all the more necessary for a delicious Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. Fall is definitely my favorite season to dress up. This season is all about warm rich neutral tones and soft comfy layers. I Will Never Forget

On September 11th 2001 it was a normal school day as my Spanish class at North Rockland High School in New York was about to begin.

A regular school day turned into complete chaos just in seconds as screams of horror and fear filled the hallways.

Many lives were completely changed and terrorized but we were not destroyed. The nation united and with God we found the strength to overcome. Today we remember and honor all those innocent lives lost due to this terrorist attack on our country. I thank God for keeping safe family members and friends who were supposed to work at the WTC that day but couldn’t make it. A silly stomach ache or mild cold kept a few lives safe from entering buildings where death awaited.

God works mysterious ways and is always in control. In God we trust!

I love my beautiful New York, even though I’m miles away you’ll always be my true home!

Puerto Rico BloggerCon 2014

The best place to find hundreds of intelligent, creative, hilarious and innovative Latin bloggers is at Puerto Rico BloggerCon. For the 2^nd year in a row I had the delightful pleasure of reuniting with so many incredible and influential bloggers. It pleases me greatly to spend time with people who are passionate about blogging whether it’s about fashion, food, technology, education, beer, gardening, coupons, or having been married to a gay husband (Yes it’s true! http://casadacongay.wordpress.com/). BloggerCon offers a very enriching experience where bloggers are provided with the essential tools and tips to succeed in this complicated industry.

This year was BloggerCon’s 6^th edition under the theme “Websites: The New Perspective”. I want to thank José Hernández Falcón (creator of BloggerCon) for giving bloggers in Puerto Rico the opportunity to keep growing in this business of internet blogging. BloggerCon 2014 was a complete success which also provided delicious free Starbucks coffee and snacks….yes I’m a Starbucks obsessed fashionista.
