Let me just clear the air right now, just in case you were thinking about the meaning society has currently given “Netflix & Chill”. Not everything has to be about sex! I remember a time when Netflix & Chill literally meant “ Do you want to come over and watch a movie?” And to me that’s what it still means. Whether it’s alone or accompanied Netflix makes for an amazing relaxed evening for homebodies like me.
Do you want to know how I Netflix & Chill? Well, I’m going to share my not-so sexy and simple Netflix binge watching routine.
To begin I have a confession to make: My name is Charlene Gonzalez and I’m obsessively addicted to Netflix. It’s safe to say I am way past my partying days and to be honest I was never much of a party girl anyway. There’s nothing I’d rather do on a Friday night or the entire weekend than to relax in my pajamas while I munch on some goodies and watch my favorite shows or movies. Watching Netflix is by far my favorite thing to do to relax after a long day. The great thing is that I know I’m not alone. A lot of you are just like me! We all just have to accept our weakness and focus on creating the best binge-watching atmosphere ever.
First things first, munchies are a must! So, set the popcorn to popping and prepare a few of your favorite munchies. My favs are; extra buttery popcorn, Swedish fish candy, mixed nuts and cold Lipton Raspberry ice tea to drink.
Next, grab your laptop and get comfy. For my Netflixing attire I prefer to wear a t-shirt, shorts and knee-high socks. Then I surround myself with throw pillows and snuggle up with a blanket.
Now that you’ve set the mood you’re left with the most important part of all, what to watch on Netflix! Can’t decide what to watch? The huge selection available with just a few clicks can be overwhelming. My favorite genre picks are comedies, dramas and romance. Horror movies are a “No Way!” for me. Netlfix offers so many options of series, TV shows and movies to watch. I’m currently watching Arrow, Flash, New Girl, Jane The Virgin, Baby Daddy, Young & Hungry & Pretty Little Liars. For movies one of my favorites Atonement just premiered and it’s a must watch. In addition something monumental has occurred. I’m referring to the official arrival of Netflix’s Fuller House which has begun streaming. This show is a continuation of my favorite classic Full House.
So after this routine rundown all that’s left to do is have fun Netflixing.
Do you have any good recommendations of what to watch?
