Denim overalls have made a comeback in style as a chic fashion option. Overalls were originally first made for farmers and mechanics but as time has passed women have embraced this trend converting it into sexy and sophisticated fashion. The Denim overall look is a very stylish laid back a boy-meets-girl look.

My overalls are super classy. I love that they are very tight and waist high with denim bow details. The best part is that they were very inexpensive costing only $15 at Sirens. Sticking to an urban chic glam I added a flower crop top underneath. In completion of my look I wore the perfect option for footwear with my bongo suede wedge heels.

This outfit is altogether comfortable and chic. You can’t go wrong wearing denim overalls.

Los jumper de mahón nuevamente han regresado a la moda como otra alternativa chic. Esta pieza originalmente era utilizaba por granjeros y mecánicos pero al pasar el tiempo esta pieza evoluciono convirtiéndose en un estilo sensual y sofisticado para las mujeres. Este “look” con jumper es muy comodo.

Lo que más me gusta de este jumper es lo ajustado que me queda, su cintura alta y sus detalles de lazos. Lo más impresionante fue el costo económico, ya que solo costaron $15 en la tienda Sirens. Para agregarle un toque de femenidad urbana le añadí una camisa floral debajo del jumper. Complete mi atuendo con zapatos wedge de Bongo.

Este atuendo es muy cómodo y chic. Seleccionar un jumper para complementar tu estilo no te desilucionará.

On April 15th, nearly 300 young school girls were kidnapped from the Chibok Government Secondary School by Boko Haram Terrorists in Nigeria. All girls are still missing.

Human trafficking is a horrible reality occurring in our world. Women and children are kidnapped to be raped, prostituted and even killed to have their organs sold.

This tragedy brings me back to a time when I was merely an innocent child walking home from school. On my short journey I was nearly kidnapped by a young man. This story is long but I’m going to keep it short . When this man tried to grab me and put me in his vehicle I ran away like Speedy Gonzalez until I reached my home screaming, crying and almost knocking down the door. My mother opened in horror as she heard me screaming “help a man wants to take me”! That was a pretty traumatic situation for me as I child and I thank God nothing occurred. God only knows what would of happened to me if that man would have taken me.

Thats why I put myself in the place of all those innocent girls who are living in hell at this precise moment. Help me pray for these girls and their families who are suffering greatly. Let’s all spread awareness so they could be found and human trafficking can be stopped!

Met Ball Fashion Favorites

May 5th marked the grand celebration of the Met Ball at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. This is the best annual red carpet fashion event where international celebrities and icons strut their best look. The Met Ball is the Oscars of fashion. Personally I was completely blown away by three chica’s who looked absolutely perfect; Blake Lively, Selena Gomez and Rachael McAdams.

Blake Lively took me back in time to glamorous vintage Hollywood. Her gorgeous barrel curls went elegantly with her dazzling gold Gucci gown. Blake was a perfect classic beauty and without a doubt she was best dressed at the Met Ball.

Selena Gomez took glamour and elegance to a whole new level. She looked absolutely stunning wearing a gorgeous purple Diane von Furstenberg dress with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. For makeup Selena wore dark berry lips and for her hair she had a very sophisticated romantic updo. Selena pulled off a very elegant look.

Rachael McAdams looked very pretty in a pale pink Ralph Lauren gown. This simple dress went very well with her short strawberry blonde hair. Rachael looked picture perfect.

I loved the styles these chic’s wore they are definitely my favorite looks of the night. Who do you consider wore the best look to the Met Ball?

El 5 de mayo fue la gran celebración del Met ball en el Museo Metropolitano de arte de Nueva York. Este es el evento de alfombra roja número uno en el mundo de la moda dónde se dan cita las celebridades más importantes para lucir su mujer vestuario. El Met Ball es los Oscars de la moda. Específicamente hubo tres chicas que en mis criterios lucieron absolutamente perfectas, ellas fueron Blake Lively, Selena Gomez y Rachael McAdams.

Selena Gomez llevó el glamour y la elegancia a otro nivel. Ella lució absolutamente impresionante llevando un hermoso vestido violeta de Diane von Furstenberg con prendas de Lorraine Schwartz . En maquillaje Selena lució labios oscuros con el peinado recogido creando un look muy sofisticado. Selena deslumbró en hermosura y elegancia.

Blake Lively me llevó atrás en el tiempo recordando el viejo glamuroso Hollywood. Los rizos en su pelo lucieron perfectamente con su deslumbrante vestido oro de Gucci. Blake fue una belleza clásica y sin lugar a duda la mejor vestida de la noche.

La bella Rachael McAdams sobresalió en un hermoso vestido rosa palido de Ralph Lauren. Este vestido simple le lucio muy bien con su cabello corto color rubio. Rachael lució una imagen perecta.

Hello Chicas!

I think this might just be my favorite casual combination. There’s no better outfit than one with bright happy colors. These turquoise/teal corduroy pants are very stylish. Pairing these pants with a laced coral blouse created a very cute and girly look. My flats matched perfectly with my clothes. I added gold and turquoise accessories which included my beautiful statement necklace and my steve Madden tote. I wore this outfit for a movie date with my boyfriend, we saw Captain America and it was AMAZING!

Creo que este podría ser mi combinación favorita para un atuendo casual. Un atuendo con colores brillantes y felices es lo mejor que puedes lucir. Este pantalón de pana color turquesa tiene mucho estilo. Emparejar estos pantalones con una blusa coral le dio un toque divertido y femenino a su vez. Mis zapatos combinan perfectamente con mi selección de ropa. Le agregué acentos oro y turquesa, los cuales pueden observar en mi collar y mi cartera de “Steve Madden”. Lucí este atuendo para una cita con mi novio. Fuimos al cine a ver Capitán América, estuvo genial!

Chica’s one thing is for sure I adore spring. It’s the most perfect season of the year. It’s not to hot nor to cold. It’s the happy medium season. Spring is full of so many gorgeous fashion trends. Here are a few of my favorite fashion and beauty obsession’s for spring.

1. Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue – I personally Believe this is the best perfume ever made! My ultimate favorite which has the number #1 spot of best perfumes on my list.

2.Rosetti Vintage Fringe Crossbody Bag– My mom got me my very first Rosetti bag and ever since I’ve liked the brand. Vintage, fringe and crossbody bags are my thing.

3.Essie Nail polish– This is the perfect pink spring color.

4. Ray-Ban Sunglasses– Perfect for those “I don’t feel like wearing any makeup” moments and obviously the #1 essential to protect your eyes from the sun.

5. Havaiana Gold flip flops- Havaiana flip flops are my best friends. They are always there for me when I need them the most. I can’t live without them.

6. Rosebud Salve– This lip balm has saved my life this spring soothing a horrible irritation I’ve been having on my lips due to allergies.

7. Tank Top– Tang tops are an absolute necessity in a girls closet. This royal blue chiffon tank is super gorgeous.

8. Denim shorts- Show some leg chica’s! Shorts are the perfect alternative to make your outfit standout this season.

There’s something about wearing a pretty lace dress that makes spring even more sweeter. This delicate pale pink lace dress made me feel very ladylike expressing my complete femininity. Embracing the romance of spring my fashion senses have fallen in love with lace. Lace brings sophistication to a whole new level creating a timeless beauty trend. Simple gold jewelry and tri-color pastel toned tote made this graceful look even more heavenly.
