Throughout all of my adolescence and teenage years, I was that girl who never grew boobs. All my friends had huge boobs while I was still wearing a training bra. Through my ignorance, I was really insecure about being flat-chested. I would resort to wearing push-up and padded bras.

Durante mi adolescencia fui la chica que nunca tuvo senos. Todas mis amigas tenía tetas grandes mientras yo aún usaba sostén de niña. En mi ignorancia llegue a ser bien insegura por mi pecho de plancha y hasta utilizaba mucho los sostenes “push up” y rellenos.

Living in a society with superficial and self imposed body ideals didn’t help either. During my time as a model I even received criticism about my miniature boobies. The worst experience I remember was during a photoshoot for a designer who made me stuff my bra with pieces of fabric because she didn’t feel my chest size was good enough for her designs. That day I learned to love my boobs thanks to the photographer in charge of the photoshoot. He realized my bobbies were stuffed because they were totally un proportional to my body. When I explained the situation he grabbed me and confronted the designer. “How dare you? How could you do this to this to her? Her breast size is perfect.” , he screamed. Literally her shocked face was epic. Through that experience I realized that my tiny boobs are actually a blessing. I learned to love them besides there are so many perks that come with having small boobs.

Vivir en una sociedad superficial con ideales falsos del cuerpo tampoco ayudó. Durante mi época de modelo recibí muchas críticas por el tamaño miniatura de mis boobies. La peor experiencia que recuerdo fue durante una sección de fotos para una diseñadora quien me relleno mi sostén de tela porque sentía que el tamaño de mis tetitas no era suficiente para sus diseños. Ese día aprendí amar mis boobies gracias al fotógrafo encargado. El se dio cuenta que mi sostén estaba relleno porque el tamaño no estaba proporcionar a mi cuerpo. Cuando le explique la situación se enfureció y confrontó a la diseñadora. “¿Como te atreves? ¿Como puedes hacerle esto a ella? El tamaño de su pecho es perfecto” le gritó. La cara de asombro de la diseñadora fue épico. Por medio de esa experiencia entendí que mis pequeñas boobies eran una bendición. Aprendí amarlas, además tener tetitas pequeñas tiene muchos benéficos.

I’ve embraced my itty bitty titties. Thanks to them I can wear sports bras, brallettes, bandaids or even go bra less. They permit me to comfortably sleep upside down. Fortunately, they also make me look younger! I’m 32 years old and everyone thinks I’m 21!

Amo mis boobies pequeños. ¡Gracia a ellos puedo usar sostenes deportivos, brallettes, curitas o no utilizar nada! Me permiten a cómodamente dormir boca abajo. ¡Afortunadamente también me hacen lucir más joven! Tengo 32 años y todos piensan que tengo 21.

Chicas, take a very good look at yourself in the mirror. You are a perfect version of yourself, unique and beautiful. The size of your breast doesn’t define who you are. They are just a simple feature on your body. Don’t let insecurities or body shamers destroy your confidence. A woman’s beauty is not based only on the cup size of her breast. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. You are a very lovely chica. 

Chicas, mírense en el espejo. Eres un version perfecta de ti misma, eres única y bella. El tamaño de tus senos no te definen. Son una parte sencilla de tu cuerpo. No permitas que tus inseguridades o los “body shamers” destruyan tu seguridad. La belleza de una mujer no está determinada por el tamaño de sus boobies. La belleza viene en todos los tamaños.
